South Africa Wine Tasting

Coffee & Boulevards

After the safari at Kruger Park, we took a flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town. It reminded me a lot of California actually – the beaches, wineries, vegetation, blue skies.

A dear friend of mine brought me around to the wineries around Stellenbosch and outside of Cape Town. I was lucky enough to attend a wine tasting event as well where I met the winemaker from Jordan Wines. I took back 5 bottles!

The wine estates I had the chance to visit and loved:

Delaire Graff Estate – Art, hospitality and wine destination. Sit on the terrace for wine and snacks. Owned by Graff Diamonds International

Dornier – Incredible wine and food. Good spot for afternoon lunch and wine

Ernie Els Wines – Lovely views. Perfect area to sit outside for wine tasting

Groot Constania – Excellent food in a rustic setting. IMG_3811IMG_2118IMG_3864IMG_3860IMG_3849IMG_3838
